Optimize your raspberry Pi

At this talk/workshop, we will see several practical applications for optimizing your Raspberry Pi quickly and simply. No advanced knowhow about Linux systems, electronics and programming are required to put that platform called Raspberry Pi so adored by makers to good use.

  • Setting up a VPN server to access your resources from anywhere or browse securely on the Internet using any public wifi.
  • Setting up a proxy to avoid ads without being detected.
  • Setting up a Steam Link and playing remotely from any monitor.
  • Learning how to use GPIOs (using LEDs, temperature sensors, relays, etc.).

If you want, you can bring your own equipment and attend the workshop.

The equipment recommended for the workshop would be:

  • Raspberry Pi (minimum RPI2B)
  • Several microSD cards (minimum 8GB, class10)
  • Xbox360 remote
  • HDMI cable
  • RPI UPS
  • Headphones with 3.5-mm jack
